In South Korea tea is mainly grown in three regions. We have two Organic Green teas available from the small island of Jeju. The island has a volcano which is still active, and the tea plants here benefit from good drainage and have unusually long roots which provide them with a rich supply of nutrients from the high mineral content of the volcanic soil.

59100 - Jeju Joonjak Plus 1st Flush
This tea has a dark green slightly mixed, and slightly twisted leaf. It produces a bright green/yellow liquor which is smooth and mild with a slightly sweet finish.

This sencha style tea is dark green and similar in appearance to Japanese Senchas. It produces a golden yellow liquor with a mild, slightly nutty flavour.
