In the 60+ years of Reginald Ames’ existence, our export trade has grown from strength to strength. Our knowledge base, experience and attention to holds us in high regard throughout the industry.

Where do we export to?

We export globally by both sea and air. We will always look at each customer and each order on an individual basis and collate several shipping quotes in order to get you the best price (we make no additional charge on top of the shipping costs).

Products and service?

All our products are available for export and all have been ethically sourced. We recognise our customer’s individual needs and often work alongside them to develop new or existing blends that will work for them in their own markets, whether it be an English Breakfast tea for a line of traditional tea houses or a base for an Iced Tea Cocktail for a swanky night club – our ability is our adaptability! We make regular visits to all our export customers, this enables us to understand your needs much better – we recognise that for us to be successful our customers must be successful and, to that end, we strive to help develop our customers’ business as far as possible.

Accounts?

New customers come to us with a great deal of confidence due to our long standing reputation and many years in the business – much trade has been done on the back of a handshake. However, for legal reasons, we now require payment in advance for the first order of any new customer; all subsequent orders will be at 28 days from date of invoice.

Shipping?

Shipping is arranged on an individual basis in order to get you the best deal. Insurance is also calculated individually and all costs are shown before any orders are sent out – this way everyone knows exactly where they stand and any possible misunderstandings or problems are ironed out before they arise (we strongly believe this to be the best possible business practice).
